 I don’t see any available appointments?
On the 1st of every month HERcurls books are open for the following month [ex. July’s appointments open on June 1st]. If you don’t see availability on the schedule, continue to check daily, or please wait for the next month. Click here to book. 

How do I prepare my hair for my appointment?
See instructions on Hair Prep page. Kindly follow instructions to avoid any prep work fees. IF YOU DO NOT FOLLOW THIS PREPARATION, YOUR APPOINTMENT WILL BE CANCELED AND YOU WILL BE CHARGED IN FULL. NO EXCEPTIONS. OUR STYLIST SHOULD BE ABLE TO EASILY DETANGLE YOUR HAIR BEFORE YOUR DRY CUT OR YOU ARE NOT PROPERLY PREPARED FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT.

Do you only cut curly hair?
No, all hair types.
[Any barbering services are not done, please contact your favorite barber. Ex. fades or designs]

Do you cut my texture?
Yes, all textures.

Do you cut for men and children?
Yes, kids must be 7 or older.

Do you have a waitlist?
No, there are no waitlist or cancellation list. Please continue to check frequently for any available openings.

Does my deposit go towards my services?
Yes, as well as it holds your appointment.

Is there parking around the area?
Yes, there are plenty of parking spaces around the area. [You can park on Ervay St or Seegar St]

Can I return/exchange any products/merch?
No, all sales are final.

How long is the haircut appointment?
Haircut time usually takes 1 to 1.5 hours depending on density and length.

How long is the color/cut appointment?
Color/cut usually takes 3 hours depending on density and length.

I have a root touch up, will you style my hair?
Root Touch-up appointment does not include styling by Haiya unless a curly haircut is included.. There is the option of styling with an available apprentice.

Can I just book for color?
No, only to existing clients. The main focus for first-time clients is to asses on the health of hair and get it to its full potential before apply any chemicals.

What does the haircut include?
Consultation, detox, curly haircut, wash, deep condition + steam, style, and education on how to maintain your curls. Click here for list of services.

Do you sell products/merch?
Yes, at the salon, shipping and on our website.

What form of payment is accepted?
For online deposits all major credit cards. For the rest of the payments, cash or all major credit cards, Cash App, Venmo, Apple Pay, and Zelle. We appreciate your generosity, we take all major credit cards or cash for tips.

How do I reschedule or cancel my appointment?
Deposits are non-refundable. You can cancel your appointment by going to your confirmation email. Check under Policies page for more details. You can reschedule your appointment through your confirmation email before 48 hours of your appointment date.

I don’t see appointments available in my city?
HERcurls is always popping up in different cities, please stay up-to-date through the newsletter as well as social media.

Late Arrivals
Make sure to call/text (469) 248-5739 if you are running a few minutes behind. If you are 15mins late the appointment will be canceled - the deposit is not refunded and you will be charged in full.

Timezone
Make sure to always check your appointment timezone.
[Your time zone is provided but we work on the time zone of the city we are in. Ex. if you live in NYC and you book for Dallas you will be given EST time zone for your appointment but in Dallas, we work on CST time zone. If your appointment is missed due to this your deposit is non-refundable]
